Bookies cut odds but there’s killer ice on the roads BRITAIN looks set for a White Christmas as forecasters warned of "killer ice" on the roads with temperatures plunging as low as -10C (14F). Jonathan Powell, senior forecaster at Positive Weather Solutions, warned of temperatures as low as -10C (14F) with more snow set to fall. "There will be black ice and people shouldn't underestimate how hazard- ous it can be. Ice is a lethal, unseen TURN TO PAGE 3 It's a magical time of year for Tilly Watson, four, who enjoys the snow in Penrith, Cumbria
